Player Ratings: Milan 3-0 Sampdoria (Goal.com/en)

MILAN

Abbiati -6.5 Made one smart stop early on from Sammarco, but apart from this had virtually nothing to do all afternoon.

Antonini -7.0: Filled in well for Zambrotta at right back and, although he didn't go forward too much, was not troubled at all defensively.

Bonera -6.5: As with the entire Milan defence, rarely put into difficulty due to Sampdoria's lack of a penalty box striker.

Maldini -7.5: Absolutely flawless display from Maldini in defence, who looks as fit as someone 10 years younger. Even went on one run down the left where he knocked the ball past his man and outsprinted him.

Jankulovski -7.0: Excellent down the left hand side, almost playing like a winger. Went on one fine slalom in the first half, and won the penalty.

Flamini -7.0: Showed good fitness levels today as he never stopped running all game. Won a number of tackles, and distributed the ball well.

Seedorf -6.0: A hit-and-miss game for Seedorf. Some nice moves and touches, but perhaps was not the dominant creative force that he was in his last San Siro outing during the derby.

Ambrosini -6.5: Solid, if not spectacular, was Ambrosini this afternoon. Was involved in the final goal when he provided the final pass for Inzaghi.

Ronaldinho -8.5: Away from goal he is not the same player he was, but around the box he is still a real menace. Created two good chances in the first half for Jankulovski and Pato, while after the break he scored twice, and helped set-up the third.

Pato -6.0: Worked tirelessly, chasing every ball, and also having a couple of shots blocked. However, he failed to get the better of the outstanding Lucchini, wand was subbed at half time for Kaka.

Borriello -6.5: Had far from his best game this afternoon, but he was still an important reference point for the Milan attack. Held the ball up, and allowed the likes of Ronaldinho and Kaka to flourish.

Subs: Kaka 7.5, Emerson 6.5, Inzaghi 7.0
