Maldini – 6.5: Solid defensive display by the Milan captain, who didn’t have much to do tonight, however similar to his side’s goal keeper, he dealt with everything that the Bianconeri threw at him.

Kaladze – 6.5: Similar to his partner at the back, a good individual performance in this contest, as he also managed to get forward on more than one occasion.

Ronaldinho – 6.5: A relatively quiet night by the Brazilian, in comparison to his other team mates anyway. He took a little while to get into the contest, but became more and more influential as the match wore on.

Pato – 9.0: Two goals and an assist in the first 20 minutes of play set up the Rossoneri victory. The young Brazilian played with a real sense of confidence tonight, and he ended the year off in the same fashion he started it in, by scoring at the San Siro.
