PAOLO MALDINI WAVES GOODBYE TO SAN SIRO

On Sunday afternoon at the end of his last match at San Siro, captain Paolo Maldini will salute the fans who have accompanied him in these 25 Rossoneri years with a run around the pitch.

MILAN - It will be the last game at San Siro on Sunday afternoon against Roma for Paolo Maldini. It will be a special and unique Sunday, for all of those who will be present in the Rossoneri's temple to salute the 'Number 3' in his match number 901, in his home and in front of the warmth of all those Rossoneri hears who know what emotions they get when they pronounce the name Paolo Maldini.

If it were for Paolo, who would salute each fan one by one, smiling to them and embracing all of those who in these 25 years have shown their love and made him feel their warmth, and so at the end of the match against Roma, the Captain will not miss to thank and salute his fans, those who have accompanied him to win 26 tropgies with the Rossoneri's club during his career as a professional football, with an unmissable run around the pitch,

Each fan who will participate to the celebrations on Sunday at San Siro, will receive a special prize to remember the captain, scarf "Tre solo per te" (Three only for you) created on purpose for this occasion and the Panini album with the 24 stickers of the Captain's career.

A Sunday of celebrations with a double significance: the last home game of Serie A coincides with Maldini's salute to the San Siro public and for the occasion Milan will go on the pitch in the match against Roma with the new 2009/10 shirt. For the Rossoneri hearts there will be the possibility of purchasing the new Rossoneri's shirt, personalized "MALDINI 3" and enriched by the celebrative patch "Tre solo per te" at the San Siro Store.

Such an important Sunday will surely be remembered in the minds and hears of our Captain and in that of each and every Rossoneri's fan, a special afternoon, full of emotions, as it was each game in which Paolo went on the pitch, giving his best for the Rossoneri's cause: thanks Captain, we'll miss you!
