Paolo Maldini: Kaka Will Stay At Milan

Maldini feels the wanted star will stay, but he didn't sound too confident when speaking about the fiasco...

Just-retired Milan legend Paolo Maldini believes Brazilian ace Kaka will not leave the club this summer, despite constant reports linking him with an exit.

Kaka has already stated he has no intention of leaving Milan, but it has not stopped rife speculation. Maldini, who has played alongside Kaka since 2003, feels his former team-mate will not leave, but he has reminded everyone that nothing is certain in football.

"Kaka? I think he will stay at Milan, but it's difficult to say," Maldini told La Repubblica.

"On his future, Kaka has been even more airtight that Carlo Ancelotti.

"It's not easy to know what Kaka will do, but Milan would have to replace him with another champion if they decide to sell him as you can only win with champions in the team."

Maldini was in Florence to assist in the Nicolo Galli youth football tournament. He retired from the game at the weekend after spending 24 years with Milan.

Meanwhile, Kaka is in Brazil as he prepares himself for the upcoming Confederations Cup.
