AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani is ready to deal in skipper Paolo Maldini for another 12 months.
After securing Rino Gattuso's commitment this week, Galliani will now focus his attention on convincing Maldini to play on next season, says Corriere dello Sport.
Maintaining Maldini, however, won't stop Galliani from pursuing a potential successor and he has scheduled talks with Cagliari president Massimo Cellino next week over centre-half Michele Canini.
