Player Ratings: AC Milan 5-1 Torino (Goal.com/en)

Milan

Dida – 7.0: An incredibly comfortable night in goal for the Brazilian, however he was called upon to make one world class save on 54 minutes, when he was forced to leap high to deny an ambitious effort by Bianchi. He did concede one late, which was a minor blemish to a solid night.

Flamini – 7.5: The former Arsenal man played in an unorthodox right-back position in Milan colours tonight, and he certainly held his own. He won the corner that lead to the opening goal to Inzaghi, and he went close to scoring himself with a fantastic volley on 41 minutes that sailed just inches over the bar.

Senderos – 7.0: He didn’t have much to do in this match, however he did everything that was asked of him in a fairly comfortable manner.

Maldini – 7.0: Similar to his defensive partner Senderos, the captain had a pretty easy night at the office, as he completely nullified the impact of Bianchi and Rosina.

Zambrotta – 6.5: The world champion didn’t manage to get forward as often as usual in this match, and incredibly he was arguably the least influential of all of the Milan players over the 90 minutes. He did what he had to at the back though, to ensure that Torino were unable to create chances on a regular basis.

Beckham – 8.0: 'Golden Balls' earned his first start in three matches, and took full advantage of the opportunity, as he proved his world class ability with the ball at his feet throughout. He was solely responsible for Inzaghi’s first two goals, however his poor clearance led to Toro grabbing a consolation 10 minutes from time.

Pirlo – 7.0: Classy as ever, but the superstar failed to impose himself in the match as much as he would have liked to. He provided Pato with a brilliant opportunity to score on the half hour mark, with a glorious chip into the area.

Ambrosini – 8.0: The talented Italian midfielder did not put a foot wrong all night; however he failed to do anything of any major significance in the opening half. To his credit though, he worked hard in the second, to firstly win the penalty for his side on 66 minutes, before deservedly scoring one of his own in the final minute of play.

Kaka – 7.0: The Brazilian superstar didn’t have the biggest impact on the match tonight; however he deservedly converted the penalty on 68 minutes, his first goal since early February. On 90 minutes, his perfect through ball set up Ambrosini for the fifth goal of the night.

Pato – 6.5: The starlet gave Rivalta in particular an extremely tough time all night. He had a great chance to score on the half hour mark, when he beat the offside trap and attempted to volley home a Pirlo ball from close range, however he was surprisingly substituted at the interval for Ronaldinho.

Inzaghi – 9.0: The veteran striker scored yet another hat-trick in Milan colours to lead his side to a comprehensive victory. Two first half headers, and a cool finish in the second half on the hour mark was all it took for Inzaghi, to ensure that he took hold of the match ball after the contest.

Subs: Ronaldinho 8.0, Shevchenko 6.5, Darmian 6.5
