David Beckham Eyes Juventus Win, Hails Paolo Maldini

Beckham looks forward to the Juve match as he hails his Milan captain...

Milan midfielder David Beckham cannot wait to play against Juventus in Sunday's showdown match as he aims for maximum points.

The Rossoneri are four points ahead of the Bianconeri in the race for second place. A Juventus win could hand the title to bitter rivals Inter. 'Becks' will do his utmost to stop that from happening as he gears up for the giant rumble.

"It's a historic game which I have been waiting for since I joined Milan. The match with Juve is fundamental for us," Beckham told Mediaset.

"Playing against them is always exciting. I have done it with Manchester United and Real Madrid, therefore I am sure the atmosphere will be excellent.

"It's important as we need to maintain second place."

Beckham believes playing alongside the legendary Paolo Maldini has been the highlight of his Milan career.

"The best thing about this experience is certainly having participated in Maldini's career. He is a great player, a great captain and a great man," concluded the midfielder.
